Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch by R. Wright, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped case with milled band, engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1877, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm.

Condition Report
A silver pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently not functioning at will need a service, balance appears to be free but the spring is distorted, the dial does not appear to be cracked, but it shows tiny chips to the edge to nine o'clock, some debris is noticeable to the surface, may benefit from a clean, hands are scratched and slightly darkened, glass has superficial scratches to the surface, silver case is heavily darkened to the whole surface and it has visible scratches due to general wear.
