A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch by Forrest, the silvered dial with hourly applied gilt Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, ornately decorated round case with a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1889, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 55mm.

Condition Report
A silver key wind pocket watch, the movement functions intermittently, balance spring is not level, evidence of dried oil and general build up of dirt, movement would require a service, the hands are tarnished with discolouration, dial is scratched and tarnished with some discolouration to the numerals, glass is lightly marked, case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age and wear, detail is rubbed, the movement hinge has split at the end, bezel has some damage to the edges particular to five and ten o'clock, pendant bow it loose.
