Lot Description
A mid 20th century sapphire, diamond and seed pearl bar brooch. The circular-shape sapphire, to the rose-cut diamond and square-shape sapphire border, with seed pearl outer detail. Length 6.8cms. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to brooch in keeping with overall wear. The sapphires are fairly well matched, they have an even saturation of colour, there are areas of slight abrasion to the facet edges visible with magnification. The diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
There are chips to several of the diamonds visible with magnification. Some settings may need to be secured. Stamped 15ct to bar. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
