A mid 19th century foil-back emerald pendent brooch, circa 1870. The square-shape foil-back emerald, within a stylised knot surmount, suspending a similarly designed drop. Length 5.8cms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Repair work to pendant suspender. Localised surface damage to surmount. Light areas of bruising visible. The emerald appear to have a pale body colour, with enhanced foil-back settings. Typical inclusions and nicks are present to both gemstones. Weight 9.5gms.
