Lot Description
A mid 20th century gold diamond five-stone bar brooch. The graduated old-cut diamonds, set at intervals, to the plain bar. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct, I-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 4.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. There are areas of yellowing to the bar, where the rhodium plating has worn. The diamonds are bright, one appears to be drawing significantly more yellow than the others. There are chips to the girdle of some, some inclusions are visible with the unaided eye. The back pin is slightly bent, the clasp is secure.
