Lot Description
Two late 19th century gold gem and diamond dress rings. To include an 18ct gold ruby and diamond dress ring and a sapphire and diamond dress ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1897. Total weight 6.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to both rings in keeping with overall wear. There are typical inclusions and some surface reaching fractures to the ruby, there are some areas of abrasion, the central diamond is bright. There is a significant file mark and acid stain to the inside of the band over a pre existing silver join. There is abrasion to some of the sapphires visible with magnification, there are chips to several of the diamonds, the back band has possibly been replaced, stamped 18ct. Ring size P.
