A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within a star setting, to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.40ct, H-I colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1896. Weight 6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. The diamond is bright, there is an internal white fracture visible beneath the outer facets, easily visible with magnification. There are possible solder joins to the back of the band. The claws to the diamonds are secure. Ring size K.
