An early 20th century 9ct gold opal and garnet bracelet. Designed as a series of oval opal cabochons and circular garnet spacers, each within a scrolling halo, to the replacement period 15ct gold and turquoise padlock clasp. Length 19cms. Weight 15.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The clasp and end terminals are replacement. Clasp stamped 15. Wear to gilt finish. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The turquoise are bluish green through green hue, one with significant abrasion. Monogram to reverse of clasp, probably WB. The opals are moderately well matched with medium play of colour. One of the opals shows cracks, another has a small chip. Moderate-significant abrasion. The garnets are a well matched deep reddish purple hue. Moderate abrasion. Small repairs to bracelet, minor discolouration.
