Lot Description
A late 19th century gold pearl and enamel brooch. Of openwork design, the ruby and pearl articulated cluster, with seed pearl and white enamel detail, to the blue and white enamel scrolling surround with red enamel bead accents. Pearls untested. Length 4.4cms. Weight 17gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good with minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. One of the tapered white enamel central panels is missing. One seed pearl deficient. Two seed pearls loose within collet mounts and are secured in with wire. Some of the enamel is discoloured, worn or deficient. The central cluster has possibly been repaired. Pin is a possible replacement. Central pearls cream-yellow, range in shape and size. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
