A 1960s 9ct gold ruby necklace. Designed as an openwork stylised flower, with circular-shape ruby lines, securing the crossover brick-link chain. Hallmarks for London, 1965. Length 38cms. Weight 60.1gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a moderately well matched pinkish red hue. Typical scattered inclusions, some surface reaching. Few rubies with significant abrasion/nicks.
