Lot Description
An 18ct gold gem-set snake necklace. The pear-shape sapphire, brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape emerald eye snake head and tail panel, to the flattened snake-link chain. Total diamond weight 0.20ct, stamped to mount. Import marks for Sheffield, 1990. Length 42.5cms. Weight 25gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphire is a medium deep blue hue, moderate colour zoning. The emeralds are a well matched medium slightly bluish green hue. Scattered inclusions. Minor abrasion.
