An early 19th century Cary's 20-inch terrestrial globe on stand with printed medallion 'Cary's New Terrestrial Globe exhibiting the tracks and discoveries made by Captain Cook...Made and sold by J. & W. Cary Strand London March 1st 1815', with engraved metal sector, printed broad equatorial frame with zodiac dates, months and compass points, on a four arm stand with castor turned stem and truncated tripod support, now 45" (114cm) high, (for restoration).
