Lot Description
An imposing pair of painted and gilt bronze floor-standing blackamoor figural lamps. Each modelled in standing pose wearing earrings, anklet and a gilt loin-cloth holding a gilt cornucopia with opaque white glass ovoid shade, on stepped rocky base raised upon a canted pedestal with foliate scroll decoration and stepped plinth, 77", (195.5cm) high.

Condition Report
Shades- Both have chips and losses to lower edges around flared collers. Some surface wear and scratches. The angle of the cornucopia that the left hand figure is holding greatly differs from that of the other figure in addition to this where the blackamoor grasps the cornucopia the welds or fixings are a lot cruder to this figure, a possible indication to a repair. Sold as decorative items only, and in need of rewiring for electricity by a qualified electrician.
