An unusual 19th century porcelain gilt metal mounted vase and cover probably Samson in the Japanese taste, of baluster wrythen urn form, the white glazed ground decorated with hand-painted roses and other flowers interspersed with gilded hand-painted panels of honeycomb form, on a brass base, 19", (48cm) high.
