A cased autopsy kit, by 'The Holborn Surgical Instrument Co. Ltd. London E.C.1.', the hinged cover enclosing a fitted interior with nineteen (of twenty) stamped surgical tools including scalpels, knives, head clamp, scissors, saw, etc, the case with ply top and base, ivorine plaque inscribed as above, 15.25" x 13.25" x 3.25" high, (38.5cm x 33.5cm x 8cm).

The wooden case is heavily scratched and worn. The interior has applied wooden divisions for the tools, the one holding the handle of the saw is damaged and loose. One tool is missing.
