Lot Description

An early 19th century lacquered brass miniature microscope by Cary of London, the circular loaded base engraved 'CARY LONDON', with rack and pinion-adjusting stage, condensing lens, tapering barrel and screw fitted eye-piece, approximately 7.5" (19cm) assembled (some parts missing), in a blue plush lined fitted box.
