A pair of 19th century Dieppe carved ivory figures, modelled as a male and female, he with tricorn hat and folded arms standing against a tree stump, she with basket of flowers. Each on naturalistic circular base and a partly ebonised cylindrical pedestal. 8", (20.5cm) high overall.

Male figure has numerous grey aged cracks plus breaks at base of both legs and a split to pedestal. Female has losses to bonnet and right hand, minor age cracks and similar splits to legs (loss to back of left leg).
