A Jacques Staunton 'Tournament' chess set, comprising sixteen boxwood pieces and sixteen ebony, one rook and one knight of each colour impressed with red crown motif, all pieces weighted, kings 3.5" (9cm) high, (S/D) in mahogany box with internal label, together with an inlaid board.
