Franz Iffland, (1862-1935)
A good early 20th century bronze figure of a hunter.
Modelled holding a bird aloft in his right hand, a bow (A/F) in his left, naked except for a helmet, standing on a naturalistic circular base, signed in the cast, foundry stamp to edge BILDGIESSEREI KRAAS BERLIN S.42, 16.5" (42cm) high, on a veined marble base with presentation plaque in German, 19.5" (49.5cm) high.
