A group of early 19th century silkwork pictures. Comprising: an oval Arcadian scene with shepherd, shepherdess and child in a landscape, 14" x 17", (35.5cm x 43cm), on rectangular stretcher, unframed, in gilt card mount; Rebecca at the Well, oval, 13" x 16", (33cm x 40.5cm), in verre eglomise surround and gilt frame; dogs attacking a stag, rectangular, 11" x 14", (28cm x 36cm), in gilt mount, later paper label verso "Worked by Jane Whistler 1818 ", with framer's label of R. Hoare, Gracechurch Street, and a small oval of a shepherdess, 9.25" x 6.75", (23.5cm x 17cm), (4).
