Harry Foster Newey, RBSA, (Birmingham, 1858-1933)
A pair of oil paintings on canvas,
comprising: a winter scene with village church,
and another with thatched cottage,
7.5" x 11.25, (19cm x 28.5cm),
and a third of a waterfall, probably by the same hand,
11.25" x 9.25", (28.5cm x 23.5cm),
all in later gilt frames, (3),

Pair have been cleaned - texture of canvas apparent in places through thin, cleaned paint. Some cracking evident where inner edge of stretcher has pressed against canvas. Small area of overpainting above one chimney.
