An early 20th century gilt metal and mother of pearl panel trinket box. The hinged rectangular cover inset with an oval painted portrait miniature head and shoulder study depicting a young gentleman dressed in a white cravat, shirt and black jacket, the mother of pearl panels with decorative foliate engraving. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" high, (6.25cm x 4.5cm x 2.5cm).

Image a little stained and faded, mother of pearl very dirty possibly nicotine stained, plated mounts worn. Body panels have been reglued, some body damage. Lid in good order.
