A good 19th century French ormolu mantel clock with silk suspension.
Pons, circa 1830, with 3" cellular Roman dial, the outside countwheel-striking movement numbered 5357 and with Exposition stamp, the architectural case with seated female niche figure flanked by two pairs of seated attendants, over gargoyles, niches and columns on a breakfront base centred by a bat motif, 19.25", (49cm) high.

Chips to convex dial glass. Door pin loose. Three numerals damaged (cracked or restored). Movement needs a clean. No bell. One figure reattached. Some rubbing to gilding especially to rear.
