Having an 8" convex Roman dial with moon hands, inscribed LEPLASTRIER Shadwell LONDON, the gut driven twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, the shaped shouldered back plate engraved Leplastrier Shadwell LONDON, within acanthus border, the pendulum with conforming bob, the arched case with pad top and cast carry handle over convex glazed bezel and cut brass decoration, reeded frieze and inlaid plinth on brass ball feet. 17.25", (44cm) high excluding handle.
