A late 19th century fruitwood-cased barograph, of Met Office type, the hinged two glass cover, with cast bale carry handle and a backplate, beside recording arm 'reset' button, enclosing a seven-tier vacuum and revolving drum, the key-wound movement with lever platform escapement, brass furniture and platform, the brass base with pull-out narrow drawer enclosing two spare recording arms, 12" x 6" 7.75", (30.5cm x 15cm x 19.5cm).
