An early 19th century inlaid mahogany wheel barometer.
Jacopi, Salop, circa 1810, having an 8-inch engraved silvered dial reading from 28 to 31 inches of pressure, the ebony and boxwood-strung trunk with architectural broken pediment over bat's wing medallion, ethanol Fahrenheit thermometer, twin conch shell paterae, and a further bat's wing medallion, 39", (99cm) high.
