An early 19th century mahogany cased 8-day longcase clock. Anonymous, circa 1820. The 12-inch white circular Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials, the knopped four pillar movement rack-striking on a bell, the break-arched case with wavy cresting, the bevelled circular hood door between canted corners, the conforming figured moulded long trunk door on a panelled base and wavy apron, 82" (208cm).

Condition Report
Dial crazing, fading to blacking, stained. Movement needs a clean. Case missing finials, later homemade hood door catch. Slight convex vertical warping (bowing) to trunk door. Case has minor losses, has been varnished years ago; some paint flecking to be removed.
