Lot Description
An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster bar brooch. The oval-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the similarly-cut diamond sides and plain bar. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts, I-J colour, SI1-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1990. Length 5.5cms. Weight 6.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. There are some small white internal fractures and areas of angular colour zoning to the sapphire visible with magnification. The diamonds are bright, there is a chip to one of the diamonds visible with the unaided eye. The hallmark is clear. The back pin and catch is secure.
