Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond pendant. The marquise-shape sapphire, within a brilliant and baguette-cut diamond tiered surround, suspended from an 18ct gold flat curb-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Chain with import marks for Sheffield, 1998. Length of pendant 2.2cms. Length of chain 46cms. Total weight 6.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The sapphire has a medium body colour with uneven angular colour zoning. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
