Lot Description

An emerald and diamond three-stone bar brooch. The rectangular-shape emerald, to the old-cut diamond sides and replacement 9ct gold bar. Estimated emerald weight 1.30cts. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Bar with hallmarks for Chester, 1945. Length 3.8cms. Total weight 3.5gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The bar is a replacement. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, minor scattered inclusions. Minor typical inclusions including surface reaching features. Emerald dimensions 7 by 6.5mms, by 4mms deep. Small nick to emerald at the girdle.
