A mid 20th century ruby chaffinch brooch. With textured feathers and circular-shape ruby eyes. Stamped E. Pearl. Length 5.3cms. Weight 20.2gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The rubies are fairly well matched, there are chips and inclusions visible with magnification. Stamped E. Pearl 585 to reverse. The back pin and catch is secure. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
