Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond dress ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire, weighing 7.99cts, to the tapered baguette-cut diamond sides and plain band. Accompanied by report number 07024, dated 11th January 2013, from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lanka origin opinion and shows no evidence of heat treatment. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. French assay marks. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with minimal wear. The ring has a mark for re-marking old production, indicating platinum. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The sapphire appears very slightly hazy with fine silk inclusions. Ring size P 1/2.
