Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the necklace in keeping with overall wear. The centre was possibly originally a brooch with the period chain added at a later date. There are dents to some of the scrolling detail. The garnets are fairly well matched, there are inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Some fractures are surface reaching. The chevron links are in good condition, the clasp is secure. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
