Lot Description
A mid 20th century aquamarine and diamond wreath brooch. The replacement cushion-cut aquamarine, suspended within a rose-cut diamond wreath surround. Diameter 2.5cms. Weight 6.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of wear to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. Some of the settings feel quite sharp and worn and may need attention. The aquamarine is a pale blue with a weak saturation of colour. There are scratches to the table facets and areas of abrasion to the facet edges. The diamonds are bright, there are chips to many visible with magnification. The back pin and catch is secure. The aquamarine is slightly to big for the centre and has been replaced at a later date.
