A late 19th century gold split pearl and enamel brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the split pearl star and blue enamel panel, within a bead surround. Length 4cms. Weight 18.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch and areas of significant lead solder repair near to the hinge, where significant repair has been attempted to the lattice work, the detail appears to have formed together and appears damaged. There are some significant chips and scratches to the blue enamel. The split pearls are fairly well matched, there are visible blisters and blemishes. Some settings may need to be secured. The back pin and catch is secure. The back pin is metal.
