Lot Description
A natural pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising 191 graduated natural pearls, measuring 6.7 to 2mms, to the push-piece clasp. Accompanied by report number 08119, from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, dated 5th July 2013, stating that the pearls are natural (saltwater). Length 51cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear to the clasp in keeping with general wear. Evidence of a stamp, indistinct due to wear. Pearls appear fairly well matched in general, but differ slightly in hue, overtone, lustre and shape. Pearls vary in hue, from creamy orangish to pinkish yellow, with a variety of overtones including rose, bluish and greenish. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, to include some minor cracks and rings. Fairly good lustre. Minor fraying to the string, we would recommend re-stringing of the pearl strand.
