Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold coral, seed pearl and garnet brooch. The seed pearl and circular coral cabochon flower, with demantoid garnet accents, to the similarly set openwork frame, suspending a coral drop. Length 5cms. Weight 5.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. One split pearl is deficient. Stamped 15ct to reverse. The coral and split/seed pearls are fairly well matched. There are some areas of abrasion visible with magnification. There are some areas of abrasion to the demantoid garnets visible with magnification. Stamped 15ct to reverse. Several gemstones are possible replacements. The back pin and catch is secure. Some settings may need to be secured.
