Lot Description

A mid 20th century diamond foliate brooch. Of openwork design, the vari-cut diamond foliate cluster, with baguette-cut diamond ribbon detail. Estimated total diamond weight 5 to 6cts, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity. French assay marks. Length 4.1cms. Weight 13.3gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The diamonds are bright, there are small inclusions to some visible with magnification. Some settings may need to be secured. The back pin fitting is secure. The French marks are clear.
