Lot Description

A Victorian pair of silver casters, the inverted pear form, standing on circular filled bases with oblique fluting, central floral embossing and bayonet locking covers. Hallmarked Rosenthal, Jacob & Co (Julius Rosenthal & Samuel Jacob), London 1885. Maximum height measuring 4 3/8 inches (11 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Felt to the underside worn. Some shallow dents around the bodies. The casters are of slightly varying size. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
