Lot Description
A Victorian silver christening mug of slightly tapered form with floral scroll engraving and vacant cartouche, with a 'C' shaped handle, together with a heart shaped bonbon dish with pierced scroll and ribbon detailing, both hallmarked London 1893, mug maker's mark indistinct, dish stamped Charles Cooke. Also including a circular open salt with engraved crest, three ball feet and glass liner, hallmarked London 1869, maker's mark 'G.?'. Gross silver weight 8.33 ozt (236.1 grams). (3).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is a small dent to the mug handle and scratches to the cartouche, the hallmarks are rubbed and the maker's mark obscured. There is some damage to the pierced detailing of the bonbon dish, hallmarks very clear. Small dents to the bottom of the salt, discoloured marks, maker's mark partially obscured, large imperfection to the glass liner rim.
