The jug displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Some deeper surface scratches and nicks are visible to the glazed ground.  The spout is now covered by the silver mount, some tarnishing to the metal and some minor surface dints and bumps in the spout area.  The hallmarks and maker's mark are partly distorted and rubbed.
