A late Victorian silver bachelor teapot of oval form, with vertical lobed decoration to the lower body, spout and lid, with ebonised handle and knop. Hallmarked Charles Boyton (II), London 1896. Height 4 5/8 inches (10.5 cm), weight 10.06 ozt (285.2 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is a small graze above the hallmarks, which are rubbed but legible. There is a dent to the underside of the spout and the the end, along with small dents to the upper rim. The lid has distorted very slightly and does not close flush.
