Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver tea caddy, of squat bombe form, raised on four feet, to the similarly shaped hinged lid. Hallmarked C S Harris & Sons Ltd, London 1916. Height 3 5/8 inches (8.7 cm). Weight 5.79 ozt (180.2 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, small dents and tarnish in keeping with general wear. Small dents to body, shallow dent to lid. The lid does not close securely. Wear to hallmarks on reverse of caddy. Varying tarnish, some black spot. Slight bends to the feet, very slight rocking on flat surface.
