Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver three piece tea service comprising teapot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl, all with scalloped rim, vertically fluted edges and initial engraving, the teapot with ebonised handle and finial, on pedestal stepped oval bases. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1918 and 1920. Weight 33.67 ozt (954.5 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There are small spots of heavy tarnish and discolouring to all pieces. There is a larger dent to the body of the teapot, the pin at the top of the handle is working loose and the ebonised finial is loose, it also does not appear to be a good fit and possibly a replacement. The hallmarks and maker's marks are clear and legible. Two parts numbered 87956.
