A George III silver cream jug of pedestal form, embossed and chased with a pastoral scene. Hallmarked Charles Hougham, London 1781. Height measuring 4 7/8 inches (12 cm), weight 2.1 ozt (68 grams).

The cream jug displays significant wear, along with general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous dents. Loss of definition to the decoration. Repairs to the joins of the handles and also the lower front body. The hallmarks are partly rubbed but clearly legible.
