A George III silver half-pint mug of baluster form, leaf capped scrolling handle and later initial engraving. Hallmarked London 1775, with the maker's mark W.?. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 6.3 ozt (198.5 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Numerous heavy dents and bumps, particularly located around the lower body. The join of the handle has become brittle with a split to the body, lower join also compressed into the body. The mug wobbles. The hallmarks to the underside of the body partly illegible.
