Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver cigarette box of oblong form, the slightly domed lid with initial engraving, with wood lining. Hallmarked Jacobs & Ogus Ltd, Birmingham 1919. Length 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

Condition Report
There are numerous nicks and dents to the exterior, particularly around the corners and edges, with one larger dent to the lid. The hinge is in good working order but one side of the box is slightly bowed outwards making it hard to close it fully. The wooden interior is loose on one side. The maker's mark is clear and legible as are the hallmarks, although they are slightly rubbed.
