Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted dressing table mirror, the oblong form with applied silver in floral scroll open-work relief, bevelled edge mirror and easel back. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1897. Height measuring 19 1/2 inches (49 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous holes to the embossing. Material/leather backing heavily worn. Replacement hinge loose, ribbon also attaching arm is broken. Later hooks have been added the reverse for hanging. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
