A German cigarette box, the oblong form with reeded engine turned decoration, enamel blue line border and wooden interior, German assay marks for Forster & Graf, alongside the Reichsmark and the standard mark 800, length measuring 5 1/4 inches (13 cm). Together with a continental cigarette case of similar form and personal engraving, stamped 900, WP. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The lid to the cigarette box does not quite sit flush. Obvious wear to the base of the cigarette box. German and continental marks a little distorted but clearly legible.
