A 1940's souvenir silver pot and cover, the cylindrical body with engine turned decoration and the detachable lid engraved and oxidised with a scene of the Tower of London. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1945/6. Height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (113 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Areas of much heavier tarnishing. Numerous dents. Hallmarks are clear and legible, different years to the body and lid.
